Basketball Recap: Redwood Christian Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Redwood Christian extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Lilliana Faumuina. The Redwood Christian Eagles put the hurt on the Holy Names Monarchs with a sharp 29-6 win on Thursday thanks in part to Faumuina, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 steals. Those 11 steals gave her a new career-high.

Redwood Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.3 points per game. As for Holy Names, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redwood Christian has already played their next contest (against California School for the Deaf), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
