Tug Valley waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mount View Golden Knights 60-28. Considering the Panthers have won four matchups by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tug Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Preston May led the charge by throwing for 302 yards and three TDs while completing 78.9% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. Gavin Fitzpatrick was another key receiver, picking up 160 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Tug Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cameron Slone and Derek Jewell. Slone got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Tug Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Mount View, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Tug Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Man at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Mount View, they will venture away from home to challenge Magnolia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Knights will be up against the Blue Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
