It's playoff time, and Las Cruces had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the La Cueva Bears 44-7 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldawgs, who have now won nine matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Daniel Amaro, who rushed for 234 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per carry, and also threw for seven yards and one TD. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last six games he's played. Francisco Winnikoff did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 101 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Las Cruces was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 340 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Las Cruces' win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average over those games. As for La Cueva, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.

Coming up, Las Cruces will challenge Cleveland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,030 yards in their previous games. La Cueva does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
