Basketball Recap: West Middlesex Comes Up Short

West Middlesex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost to the Sharpsville Blue Devils on the road by a 54-37 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Big Reds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-39 back in January.

West Middlesex's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Sharpsville, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-6 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Middlesex will head out to face off against Kennedy Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sharpsville, they will venture away from home to take on Lakeview at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
