Farmersville had won three straight home games and Janessa Garza did her part to make it four on Friday. The Farmersville Aztecs breezed past the Woodlake Tigers to the tune of 60-30 thanks in part to Garza, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 31 times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Karlene Veleta, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 12 boards. She also grabbed seven steals, which is notable because Farmersville is undefeated when she posts at least five steals, but 10-14 otherwise.

Farmersville's win bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Woodlake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Farmersville has already played their next game, a 59-6 victory against Wonderful College Prep Academy on the 11th. As for Woodlake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-27 defeat against Corcoran on the 11th.
