Softball Recap: Eugene Takes a Loss

Eugene was the 12-0 winner over Eldon when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday.

Eugene's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Eldon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eugene will head out to challenge Russellville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Eldon, they are taking a road trip to take on Crocker at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
