Football Recap: Gonzaga Takes a Loss

Gonzaga is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of DeMatha. The Eagles took a blow against the Stags, falling 42-14. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Stags recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Gonzaga's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for DeMatha, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Looking ahead, Gonzaga will be playing in front of their home fans against St. John's at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. DeMatha does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
