Football Recap: Citrus Hill Takes a Loss

Citrus Hill lost against Canyon Springs back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks were beaten by the Cougars 50-21.

Although Citrus Hill took the loss, they still got scores from Ricky Green, Demerius Norman, and Cody Bowie.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jaxon Taylor and Andre Larry. Taylor rushed for 205 yards and four scores on only ten carries while Larry rushed for 208 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Larry is now averaging an impressive 106 rushing yards per game.

Citrus Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Canyon Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.
