Archer extended their winning streak to seven on Wednesday, bumping them up to 11-1. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Grovetown Warriors. The three-run effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

As for Grovetown, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-4. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but Archer's pitcher proved too tough.

For Grovetown's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Treasure Story, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archer will host Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.42 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Grovetown, they will take on Greenbrier at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
