Basketball Recap: Propel Braddock Hills Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westinghouse last Friday, Propel Braddock Hills came back down to earth. Propel Braddock Hills came up short against Ellis on Saturday, falling 47-23. Propel Braddock Hills has struggled against Ellis recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the defeat, Propel Braddock Hills saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Meya Johnson posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malia Baker, who had six points.

Propel Braddock Hills' loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Ellis, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Propel Braddock Hills is taking a road trip to face off against Brashear at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Ellis, they will square off against Jeannette at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
