It was a good run, but Clarinda unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 9-4 to the Atlantic Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 last Tuesday.

Clarinda's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Atlantic, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

Clarinda has already played their next matchup (against Creston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Atlantic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-1 victory against Red Oak on the 26th.
