Soccer Recap: Dooly County Takes a Loss

If Dooly County was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Hawkinsville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats came up short against the Georgia Military College Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 5-1. Dooly County haven't had much luck with Georgia Military College recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Dooly County's goal came courtesy of Jesus Vega, who's now up to 39 this season.

Dooly County's loss dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Georgia Military College, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Dooly County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Crisp County on the 19th. As for Georgia Military College, they will square off against Manchester at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Georgia Military College's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Manchester have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
