Basketball Game Preview: North Paulding Wolfpack vs. Carrollton Trojans

North Paulding is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Richmond Hill as North Paulding made off with a 60-35 win. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Carrollton had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They took down the Eagles 59-45. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Eagles are ranked 128th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carrollton's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points over those games. As for North Paulding, their win bumped their record up to 26-2.
