Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Hammond Morton has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 157.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Hobart struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 189.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Hammond Morton came out on top in a nail-biter against Hobart when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 61-58. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Governors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
