Preview: North Penn Knights vs. Pennridge Rams
The North Penn Knights will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Pennridge Rams at 7:00 p.m. North Penn will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
North Penn stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 56-34 margin over Methacton. Given North Penn's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while Methacton is ranked 441st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Pennridge ended up a good deal behind Neshaminy on Wednesday and lost 51-34.
North Penn pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Pennridge, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
North Penn was able to grind out a solid victory over Pennridge in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 49-38. Does North Penn have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pennridge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
