Grovetown won the last time they faced Newton and things went their way  on Monday too. The Warriors walked away with  an   8-3  win over the Rams. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Warriors.
 Isabella Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on two hits.
 At the plate,  Treasure Story was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was  Aerisheya Miles, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
Grovetown's record is now 23-5. As for Newton,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 13-12.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grovetown will welcome Harlem  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Newton, they will take on Archer at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3  runs per game  this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
