Football Recap: Eunice Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 88 points the game before, Eunice was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 47-8 loss at the hands of the St. Michael's Horsemen. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Isaiah Dominguez had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 64 yards and two TDs on only six carries, while also picking up 69 receiving yards and one score for St. Michael's. Pete Johnson was another key player, rushing for 75 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

Having lost for the first time this season, Eunice fell to 4-1. As for St. Michael's, their record now sits at 5-0.

Eunice will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Loving at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Michael's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Raton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
