Football Recap: St. James Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

St. James and Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but St. James had to settle for second. They lost 22-0 to the Bulldogs. The Saints were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the four matchups prior), but the Bulldogs' defense proved too tough.

With the defeat, St. James broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3. As for Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
