Softball Recap: Pueblo County's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pueblo County had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They never let the Coronado Cougars get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. Considering the Hornets have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Pueblo County's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Coronado, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coincidentally, Pueblo County and Coronado will both be playing Canon City the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the Tigers at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Hornets will play them later in the day, at 3:30 p.m.
