Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Bishop O'Dowd's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of Piedmont by a score of 50-47.

Alameda has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Bishop O'Dowd, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 13-7.
