Basketball Game Preview: Bradshaw Christian The Pride vs. Argonaut Mustangs

The Bradshaw Christian The Pride will take on the Argonaut Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bradshaw Christian's offense hasn't had much luck over their past ten contests, but Tuesday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bradshaw Christian is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Union Mine on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Bradshaw Christian was outmatched by Union Mine and fell 74-22. The The Pride were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-12.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Argonaut's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. The matchup between them and Union Mine didn't end well, with Argonaut falling 44-29.

Bradshaw Christian will need focus on slowing down Alayna Critchfield, one of several Argonaut players who made an impact when they last played. She posted seven points along with 12 boards and five steals. Critchfield is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Begovich, who had 11 points in addition to four steals and four blocks.

Argonaut's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-10. As for Bradshaw Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-20.

Bradshaw Christian took a serious blow against Argonaut when the teams last played back in January, falling 68-23. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Bradshaw Christian was down 37-9.
