Ardrey Kell is 8-1 against Providence since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ardrey Kell comes in on three and Providence on five.

Ardrey Kell is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past East Mecklenburg 48-0 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Tristan Rivest was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 87 yards and one TD on only five carries.

Meanwhile, while Providence put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Ballantyne Ridge. The Panthers blew past the Wolves, posting a 45-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Wolves are ranked 247th).

Ardrey Kell's record now sits at 6-3. As for Providence, their record is now an identical 6-3.

Ardrey Kell beat Providence 30-18 when the teams last played back in August of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
