The Christian Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 51-38 to the MAST Community Charter Panthers. The Christian Academy lost against MAST Community Charter in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 55-20 score last time.

MAST Community Charter had a senior duo take command as Lauren Sweeney went 6 for 12 en route to 15 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks and Rylie Fitzsimmons posted eight points in addition to 14 boards and five assists. Those three blocks gave Sweeney a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tierney Hamilton, who earned eight points and six steals.

The Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for MAST Community Charter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-5.
