Hill City faced Decatur Community in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Ringnecks claimed a resounding 46-0 victory over the Red Devils. Considering the Ringnecks have won seven games by more than 35 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

A big part of Hill City's win came down to the chemistry between Tate Balthazor and his top target Tyler Ashbaugh. Balthazor rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry while Ashbaugh gained 145 total yards and two touchdowns.

Hill City was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 255 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards in 13 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Hill City's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.7 points on average over those games. As for Decatur Community, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Hill City nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
