Dresden extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Sale Creek. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since March 3rd.

Dresden is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-15 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Sale Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-12.

As of now, neither Dresden nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
