Basketball Recap: Dove Creek's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Dove Creek was feeling good fresh off their 40-16 takedown of Dolores on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell 35-23 to the Nucla Mustangs on Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dove Creek fell to 2-1. As for Nucla, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Dove Creek will be taking part in a tournament against North Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nucla, they will take on Vail Christian in a tournament on Thursday.
