Football Recap: Prairie View Gets the Win

Wellsville came into Friday's game looking for another win against Prairie View, but Parker Schwarz wouldn't allow it. The Buffalos walked away with a 42-35 win over the Eagles on Friday thanks in part to Schwarz, who rushed for 288 yards and four scores while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards.

When it comes to explaining why Wellsville lost, don't look at Armond Graves. Despite the final result, he rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Graves' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 114 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Prairie View now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Wellsville, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
