Columbia is 8-0 against Octorara Area since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Columbia Crimson Tide will be playing at home against the Octorara Area Braves at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Columbia is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Pequea Valley just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Braves 42-37. While losing is never fun, the Crimson Tide can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Braves are ranked 163rd).

Meanwhile, Octorara Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 56-23 loss at the hands of Pequea Valley.

Octorara Area's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Columbia, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Everything came up roses for Columbia against Octorara Area in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 44-13 victory. Will Columbia repeat their success, or does Octorara Area have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
