Volleyball Recap: Venture Academy Extends Winning Streak to Three

Venture Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Modesto Christian Crusaders.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 25-16.

Ruby Orozco had a dynamite game, getting ten aces and one block. Those ten aces gave her a new career-high.

Orozco wasn't the only good server: Venture Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Venture Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Modesto Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Venture Academy will be playing at home against Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Modesto Christian, they will take on Stone Ridge Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
