Softball Recap: Aurora Takes a Loss

Aurora lost against Waverly back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Huskies fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Huskies have suffered since September 2nd.

Vivi Fahrnbruch was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Londyn Teahon was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Aurora now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Waverly, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-7.

Aurora has already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against NEN on the 20th. As for Waverly, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Northwest on the 20th.
