Softball Recap: Druid Hills Comes Up Short

After soaring to 19 runs the game before, Druid Hills was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the Northview Titans, falling 10-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 12-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Druid Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Northview, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-12 record this season.

Druid Hills will square off against North Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northview, they will challenge Southwest DeKalb at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season.
