Softball Recap: Jackson County Starts off Right with Win over Stephens County

Jackson County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Stephens County Indians on Wednesday, sneaking past 11-9.

Miabella Lee was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Glander, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson County will venture away from home to square off against Hart County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stephens County, they will head out to challenge Commerce at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
