The Marion Center Stingers will take on the Purchase Line Red Dragons at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Marion Center will come into the  game with an undefeated record on the line.
Marion Center is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. Everything went their way against Northern Cambria on Friday as they made off with  a  49-26 victory. Given the Stingers' advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Colts are ranked 261st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

 Camden Rising continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 114 yards and two  touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 190 yards and three  TDs while completing 80% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  passer rating (160.4). Marion Center's leading receiver  Alec Brudnock was  Rising's top target yet again, picking up 110 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Marion Center was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 245  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  rushing yard total in three consecutive  contests.
 Marion Center didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Brudnock.
 Meanwhile, Purchase Line fell victim to River Valley and their airtight defense  on Friday. They were beaten by the Panthers 35-0. The Red Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Marion Center's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Purchase Line, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Friday's  matchup:  Marion Center has been on an offensive roll this season,  having  averaged 353.7  total yards per game. It's a different story for Purchase Line, though, as  they've been averaging  only 174  total yards. Will Marion Center be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Red Dragons flip the script?
 Everything came up roses for Marion Center against Purchase Line in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  41-0 victory. Do  the Stingers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Dragons turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
