Basketball Recap: Bloomington Comes Up Short

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Notre Dame Titans and fell 59-21. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1283rd, while the Titans are ranked 604th).

Bloomington's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Notre Dame, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-5.

Bloomington will square off against Jurupa Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Notre Dame, they will take on Rim of the World at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Notre Dame is facing Rim of the World at the right time seeing as Rim of the World is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
