Baseball Recap: Eastchester Takes a Loss

Eastchester fell victim to Rye and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Garnets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Garnets this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat two weeks ago.

Eastchester saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Gessa, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Eastchester's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Rye, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

As of now, neither Eastchester nor the Garnets have any future games scheduled.
