Baseball Recap: Inglemoor Victorious

Inglemoor won the last time they faced Liberty and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vikings walked away with a 6-1 win over the Patriots. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Inglemoor gave Brody Ledger the start and clearly made the right call: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Ledger has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in 11 consecutive appearances. Levi Stark picked up the save, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, Titan Fraser was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Inglemoor's record now sits at 16-5. As for Liberty, they moved to 15-7 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Inglemoor has already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Mercer Island on the 12th. As for Liberty, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Interlake on the 12th.
