Baseball Recap: Henderson Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Henderson had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They skirted past the Coatesville Red Raiders 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since April 17th.

Shane Manuel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Henderson's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Reinheimer, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Henderson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Coatesville, their loss dropped their record down to 17-4.

As of now, neither Henderson nor the Red Raiders have any future games scheduled.
