Football Recap: Crosby-Ironton Takes a Loss

Crosby-Ironton lost against Mesabi East back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rangers took a hard 24-8 fall against the Giants. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crosby-Ironton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mesabi East, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Crosby-Ironton will be playing at home against Hinckley-Finlayson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rangers will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mesabi East, they will face off against Aitkin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
