Basketball Recap: Blue Mountain Comes Up Short

If Blue Mountain was riding high fresh off their 64-38 takedown of Panther Valley on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The contest between the Blue Mountain Eagles and the Northern Lebanon Vikings didn't end well, with the Blue Mountain Eagles falling 41-23.

Blue Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Northern Lebanon, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Mountain will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pine Grove at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Northern Lebanon, they will be home for the holidays to greet Lancaster Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northern Lebanon's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Lancaster Catholic's offense will have their work cut out for them.
