Soccer Recap: Castro Valley Takes a Loss

Castro Valley lost against Bishop O'Dowd back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Castro Valley Trojans came up short against the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while the Dragons are ranked 40th).

Castro Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they pushed their record up to 12-0-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Castro Valley will host Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they will face off against Alameda at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
