Granite Hills came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.4 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the El Capitan Vaqueros. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Vaqueros are ranked 405th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
