Basketball Recap: Gregori Piles Up the Points Against Turlock

Gregori won the last time they faced Turlock and things went their way on Thursday too. The Gregori Jaguars simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Turlock Bulldogs 59-14. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Veronica Whitten had a dynamite game for Gregori, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards. Whitten is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Alanah Lopez, who posted 13 points and five assists.

Gregori was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Gregori is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Turlock, they dropped their record down to 2-22 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Gregori wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 38-34 win against Downey on the 4th. Turlock has also already played their next game, a 57-42 loss against Enochs on the 4th.
