Wapsie Valley entered their tilt with Don Bosco on Monday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They blew past the Dons 14-2. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matches by six  runs or more this season.
Wapsie Valley pushed their record up to 29-4 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Don Bosco, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 21-15.
 Looking ahead, Wapsie Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Edmond  on  the 22nd. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Warriors 2.8, the Gaels 3.4) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Don Bosco does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
