Softball Recap: Liberty County Comes Up Short at Home Against Northside

Liberty County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 10-1 to the Northside Eagles on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Liberty County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aeriela Jemison, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Northside has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Liberty County will welcome Warner Robins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Northside, they will head out to square off against Bradwell Institute at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
