Immanuel snaps three-game streak of wins on the road

Recap: Immanuel Eagles vs. Sierra Pacific Golden Bears

It was a good run, but the Immanuel Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 59-29 loss at the hands of Sierra Pacific. Immanuel has not had much luck with Sierra Pacific recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Sierra Pacific's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Asia Jackson led the charge by scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Jackson scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Apajok Ayuen, who scored 13 points.

Immanuel's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7. As for Sierra Pacific, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season.

Immanuel will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hanford West at 6:30 p.m. As for Sierra Pacific, they will head out on the road to square off against Reedley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
