Basketball Recap: Warner Wildcats vs. School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Warner can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 31-30 to the School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead School for Entrepreneurship & Technology to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kameron Owens, who posted eight points and five boards. Anicka Redondo was another key player, putting up eight points.
Warner's loss dropped their record down to 20-3. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Warner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, they will square off against Foothills Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Foothills Christian: 26.4, School for Entrepreneurship & Technology: 28.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
