Baseball Recap: Jordan Comes Up Short

If Jordan was riding high fresh off their 16-0 takedown of Eagle's Landing last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jordan Red Jackets lost 11-2 to the Opelika Bulldogs on Thursday. The loss was the Red Jackets' first of the season.

Jordan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Williams, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI Williams has posted since back in February of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jordan fell to 2-1.

Coming up, Jordan is taking a road trip to challenge Chattahoochee County at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Opelika, they will host Beauregard at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
