Soccer Game Preview: Tri-City Christian vs. Southwest SD

The Tri-City Christian Eagles will square off against the Southwest SD Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Tri-City Christian sitting on five straight wins and Southwest SD on four.

Tri-City Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Brawley. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Brawley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gracie Lisak (3), Julia Curry, and Adrianna Zuber.

Meanwhile, while the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Southwest SD who was credited with the victory on Tuesday. Southwest SD got it done in the shootout by posting two goals to High Tech SD's one.

Southwest SD's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Tri-City Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
