Convent of the Sacred Heart was the 1-0 winner over Bentley when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Convent of the Sacred Heart Cubs fell just short of the Bentley Phoenix by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The loss was the Cubs' first of the season.

Convent of the Sacred Heart's loss dropped their record down to 2-1-3. As for Bentley, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1-1.

Convent of the Sacred Heart will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lick-Wilmerding at 3:15 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Bentley also won't see the pitch for a while: their next game is against Athenian at 3:15 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
