Football Recap: Calhoun Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Calhoun was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 24-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Verbena Red Devils. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Calhoun's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Verbena, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Calhoun and Verbena will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Tigers are set to challenge their familiar foe Pike Liberal Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Verbena will square off against rival Keith at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
